Hello Everyone,
What a great year 2009 was! The year was full of wonderful information for all of those who took advantage of the educational sessions that were provided. It was all made possible by our wonderful 2009 board members who were dedicated to bringing our members great events and education. I would like to take this opportunity to thank outgoing Board member Eric Nelson, Sunrise Assessment Collections for his valuable contributions to the Chapter, and welcome new Board Member Wendy Benner of Draeger Construction.
This upcoming year promises to bring even more for the membership. It started off with a bang with a luncheon on Emergency Preparedness. Thank you to everyone who attended. We are looking forward to another great year full of even more opportunities.
SOME UPCOMING EVENTS:
[Evening Sessions]
In 2009 we started evening sessions of Board Member Trainings. This was a great opportunity for those Directors who cannot attend our luncheon seminars. Because this was such a successful and well attended event we will continue it in 2010 with “Protecting your Assets”, which is scheduled for October 21st, 2010.
[March Luncheon Seminar]
We are excited to announce that Julie Adamen will speak at our March luncheon seminar. Julie is president of Adamen Inc., a consulting and placement firm specializing in the community management industry
[Rivercat’s Baseball]
Our membership committee is working hard to build our volunteer membership. The committee has exceeded their goal for 2009, I’m sure they’ll even do better this year. A Rivercat’s baseball event is scheduled for spring. Keep an eye out for more information.
[Golf Tournament]
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention our wonderful Golf Tournament. With the leadership of co-chairs, Jennifer Jacobsen, Baydaline and Jacobsen LLP and Sheila Adams, Sunwest Bank, the tournament will be Monday, October 10, 2010. Place to be determined. More details to come!
Thank you to our sponsors, without them we would not be able to present the great educational options we do now. If you would like to be a Chapter sponsor or advertise in our quarterly newsletter please contact our Executive Director Jeannie Bruins at 916-333-0553 or e-mail her at cai-cnc@bmsch.com she will be happy to go over the opportunities CAI-CNC offers.
